Classy Poem

holiday away

He boarded on the plane along with her whom he had married just a week ago  & she was lovely & upset - no purr  of quiet comfort. Loud speakers said "Go… to boarding gate... all passengers...amiss”,  & so they ran to get there-she had not been late before; her heritage was Swiss.  And all the passengers then clapped a lot. To quiet trusting Norfolk Island they  went for a lovely honey-moon type thing. And she learned ‘bout electric fences - hey!  -by holding one - at his fool suggesting…

October Long-weekend - 2026

This year he was in two minds 'bout his hols: there was the thought of going to the beach, and meeting up with friends and other souls, with walks on sand, and swims, and no more teach- ing, but there’s folk who’ve passed on from this life:  his spouse’s Mum had died a month back and she’d said folk weren’t to have a funeral.. I think she didn’t want “hypocricy”… But fam’ly planned to have a wake some time  around the long-week-end that’s coming, and we’ll have to cut that holiday quite fine to get from Uladulah to Queensland. And then on top of that, past week a ment- or - friend who helped him grow up as young bloke on farm in Bourke; on Monday night he went out from this life, into the next, his folk had planned his funeral for long week-end quite early in October, so folk might still get to it. Remembering a friend. who was a power-house, who had some fight left in him, but he knew his time had come to sleep in restful peace until the end.. when bodies are remade to stand ...

..be longing..

The fears & hatred of this day today,  have not gone yet, I feel more angry still I do not like the methods or the way  that systems seem to squeeze people until you can't be diff’rent - must just "tow the line!"  And sometimes I don't feel a part at all.  I feel like I've come from another time,  & have to gain significance, or fall. For some thing in me longs to make a splash,  to make a difference to the world around  Some people turn the world  around to ash  and by this way their name has some renowned. I met a man who found another way,  or so he said. I wonder how, today?

Gaanha-bula

(Truth Through Knowledge*) The kind of life that “lives and moves and has  its ‘being’” in this world, connecting not with purpose, or with meaning, will thrive as.. ..as much as do machines, cancer, or rot. That's not to say it will not multiply (nor that the parts will not get out of whack). For cancer cells take that command and “try” to practice it, but don’t honour. They’re slack at acting like there's order down the line,  at tending to the purpose they were made - connect with knowledge, where the truth does shine (not where it can’t be seen. So light, not shade enables us to see. But here’s “the rub”: the ointment that must be rubbed in, through time; the single purpose learning, with no hub (rotating not around the truth sublime*) the truth we know (& thus  enflesh it here), on Middle Earth, between the poles that be (at least by some conceptions, they appear) “above”, “below”. The purpose that we see or think we do. And through life here we test out how our ...

A day like today

They say that ev’ry day is much the same as ev’ry other day that comes along. At times it seems to be true, since each name of days within a week may start off strong, Like Mon-, or Choose-, or When’s-, or Thirst-, or Fry- (or even when you’ve Sat- in Sun- they say), all of them end the same, that is in my.. my lingo (English), where each ends in “-day”. Though this is not so strong an argument,  there is the fact that feelings worlds can be  discounted by the fact-y part that’s lent  more power by our culture. Let me see. Today is When’s-day, though I don’t spell well, I slept last night in Dubbo town on mat- ress on the floor, and then I saw my gal for breaky, just before I walked and sat in driver’s seat, of our car, and came back to Orange, where I had a school-day which  a lot might say is just another day but we got through a lot of stuff and learned  a bit in different areas of life, and gave some “yindyamarra” as folk say  around here, that lets peo...

ClassSonnet: 😎

πŸ˜Ž (Subtitle: athletic, energetic, ignoring people, proactive, random, chill) Iambic pentameter, 14 lines in blocks of 3,4,7. And the rhyme scheme is  ABB, CDEC, FGFGHHF Athletic paramedic in the sun … he watched but couldn't make himself to join in for even if he did he mightn't win. He often was proactive, not today,  It sometimes seemed quite random as things go.  But still he felt quite chill under his shades which sheltered him from chaos & meleΓ©. Technology came to his aid in time & working with it was an aid in life  because his glasses cut out glarey shine  & seemed to minimise the troubles rife. Ignoring people sometimes was a need but often times he jumped in- took the lead & added to this world - that's yours & mine! Written by Our class - as much as they could make themselves… today.
